The visit to this unforgettable archaeological site will give you a chance to admire the 'Kulkukan' pyramid which represents the Mayan calender; the magical Ball Court, where the capitan of the winning team would be decapitated; the spectacular Temple of the Warriors, decorated with 1,000 columns; the legendary Sacred Cenote containing thousands of mysteries; and the surprising Caracul Observatory, the only spiral Mayan construction.

 

Lunch is a buffet in a Mexican restaurant, giving you the chance to sample Yucatan cuisine and the very spicy habanero chile. After lunch, you can take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of a cenote and then have some free time to visit the main square of Valladolid, a typical colonial town.

 

We recommend you take with you: hat or cap, comfortable walking shoes, sweater for the bus, towel and bathing suit, biodegradable sun cream and mosquito repellent, extra money for shopping.
